Preparing for Astral Travel During Sleep

Introduction. Since spontaneous astral projection does occur during sleep, why not make the most of it? A study was made to determine a good system to prepare for astral projection during sleep. This procedure is intended to prepare the body, to establish intention and protection, set goals, and form images of the desired destination for astral travel. Here are the results:

1) Physical relaxation, a serene mental state, and motivation were determined to be essential prerequisites for successful astral travel during sleep. A clear intent to travel out-of-body was formulated by the subject immediately prior to falling asleep.

2) All subjects used autosuggestion during the drowsy state just prior to falling asleep. The suggestions varied, but typically included such suggestions as:

"I am now ready to leave my body. I am free to go wherever I wish. I will be fully protected as I travel. I will return with ease whenever I decide to do so."

3) For travel to designated destinations, images of the destination were formed by the subjects and integrated into the drowsy state preceding sleep.

Summary of Purpose & User Benefits: The study found that students actively engaged in a variety of learning situations experienced a rapid improvement in the rate of learning as well as retention through Celestial Learning. The program, rather than directly inducing out-of-body travel, simply established the pre-sleep conditions conducive to spontaneous travel. See Celestial Learnng.
