A Charm Bag for Attraction and Love: To Increase Your Magnetism

Here is a practical spell designed to increase your magnetism and your level of professional power—in other words, to turn up the volume on your charm. This is a recipe for a charm bag. For those of you who do not know, a charm bag is similar to a sachet. It is a small cloth bag filled with aromatic herbs, flowers, crystals, and other magickal ingredients. Charm bags may be carried for any magickal purpose: health, safe travel, protection, to increase confidence and personal magnetism, and, of course, to attract love.

The directions that follow are pretty straightforward, and the supplies are easy to find. Just as any other act of magick, timing and supplies are important, so before you dive right in, take your time and familiarize yourself with the directions

Timing
A Friday night in a waxing or full moon phase. Fridays are sacred to the love goddesses Venus and Freya. Also be sure to work while the moon waxes in order to pull things toward you. Creating this charm bag on a full moon night gives it extra power.

Supplies

• A handful of fresh red rose petals and red carnation petals (the rose petals are for romance and love, and the carnation petals bring energy and a healthy passion)
• A pink or red sachet bag (you may use a square of fabric and tie up the ends with a satin ribbon in a coordinating color, or try a small organza favor bag)
• A small magnet (which will represent your personal magnetism)
• A small rose quartz tumbled crystal (this crystal brings love and affection; it is the ultimate "warm fuzzy" stone)
• A plain white tea light
• A saucer or plate
• A drop of vanilla extract (for added attraction)
• Your favorite perfume
• A photo of yourself
• A safe, flat surface to set up on
• Matches or a lighter

Directions
Set this up in an area where the light of the moon will fall on your work surface. Place the photo of yourself in the middle of the workspace. Add a drop of vanilla extract to the tea light, and set the tea light in the middle of the saucer. Place the saucer holding the tea light directly on top of your photo (this will protect the photo). Crumble the petals from the flowers, and sprinkle a few in a loose circle around the saucer. Place the rest of the remaining petals, the rose quartz crystal, and the magnet inside of the sachet bag. Put a small spritz of your perfume on the fabric of the bag. Tie this closed, knotting it three times, and say:

Set the sachet bag on the work area, making sure it falls under the light of the moon. Now light the candle, and repeat the following charm:

Allow the sachet to stay next to the candle until the candle burns out on its own. Once finished, tuck the sachet into your pocket or purse and carry it with you to increase your charm and magnetism. Dispose of the spent candle neatly, and put the saucer and your photo away. The remaining petals that were scattered around the candle you can return to nature and the Lady as an offering.

Now, as I am sure you have noticed, not only did the spoken verse work to increase your own personal charm, but you also created a charm (or amulet, if you prefer) to carry with you. Pretty clever, eh? Enjoy this spell, and be open to the magick that is all around you each and every day.
