To create new beginnings for yourself, and to do away with negativity, set up two white candles on your altar. Dress in white and place a five-pointed star in the center of the altar between the candles. Place a drop of lotus oil on the forefinger of your power hand, and anoint each chakra in order while chanting:

All negative habits and influences are removed. I am now renewed in strength and spirit. Open my mind, give me balance, and show me the spiritual path I must follow. Unfold the lotus blossom now so that I may give and receive blessings.
