As the saying goes: "St. Swithin's Day, if thou dost rain, full forty days it will remain." This is because the rain fell for forty days when priests moved St. Swithin's remains from a humble churchyard to a fancy tomb inside the church. He was the model of simplicity. The truth is the more you simplify, the more free time you have. On your altar place a black candle, a cauldron, and pen and paper. Place objects that represent those things you can rid yourself of. Write on a sheet of paper: "What obstructs my free time melts away." Visualize yourself with more free time. Burn the paper. From now until the Full Moon in August, remove items you no longer need.
