Protect Your Teenager Spell
Color of the day: Gold Incense of the day: Basil Incense of the day: Basil Make three fresh leaves from a new corn plant. Lay a strand of your teenager's hair on each leaf. Fold each leaf in thirds, making an envelope for the hair. Braid the leaves together. Place three votive candles-a red one, green one, and white one-on a round plate in a triangular formation. Place the braid in the middle of the triangle. Light the white candle, and say: "Demeter, I call to you, as one who loves her child too." Light the green candle, saying: "A mother's love is strong and true. I seek your help to see me through." Light the red candle, saying: "Protect this child from harm and strife, that he (or she) may lead an honorable life." Allow the candles to burn down, and the melted wax pool around the braid. Put the wax-coated braid in a jar or box, and keep it in a secret place. |
