Color of the day: White
Incense of the day: Sandalwood

Traditionally this was the time of year to plant corn. The farmers would walk the newly planted fields with members of the clergy, blessing the fields for abundance. Since this is the Thursday before May's Full Moon, today would be excellent for casting a prosperity spell. For this, will need a pinch of cornmeal, three blue violets you have picked, and a cup of water to which you've added a bit of sea salt. In the evening, as the Moon rises above the eastern horizon, go outside where you won't be disturbed. Sprinkle the cornmeal on the ground and scatter the violet petals over the cornmeal. Pour the salt water over all and say:

Grain of gold,
Give me wealth to hold.
Flowers from the earth, Water from the sea,
Favor me with prosperity.
So mote it be.
