In Japan, today is Clothes Changing Day, when uniforms and clothing officially change over to summer garb. At the same time, Japanese men and women pray for physical and bodily protection on this day. Hold a small stone in your hand while you visualize a sphere of white light surrounding you. Make sure that the bubble is clear and strong and goes all the way around you, above your head and beneath your feet. When the visualization is strong and firmly in place, clench the stone in your dominant hand and recite:

Inside and out,
head to toe,
All harm,
away from me go.
Safety, go into this stone
Shield, protect,
and guard
Skin, blood, and bone.

Carry the stone with you; grip it and visualize that protective light protecting you from injury.
