Saint Roch, a young healer who worked tirelessly to help plague victims in the fourteenth century, is honored today. He is invoked in this spell using a crystal ball-one that is used only for healing. Pour spring water into a bowl. Hold the crystal ball in your dominant hand and say:

Oh thou stone of
Night and Right,
Let me dip thee in the water.
In the water of
pure spring,
In the name of Saint Roch,
In the name of the Triple Goddess.
In the light of the
healing Sun,
Blessings on the clear shining stone!
Blessings on the clear pure water!
A healing of all bodily ills
On woman, man, and beast alike!

Place the crystal ball in the water and allow the Sun to infuse it for one full day. The healing water can then be bottled and given to the sick to drink.
