You should always be aware of your financial situation; your income vs. your expenditures. All sorts of things get in the way of the plans you would like to make and you should be prepared with a backup plan for such circumstances. Were you planning on a trip this summer? Did you want to go someplace special? Would you like to go on a vacation but didn't quite find the money to do it? Did you start a vacation fund for this trip? Maybe this is the time to start a vacation fund for next year or to start budgeting your money so you can take a trip later this year. Always be aware of your finances and make sure you plan ahead for those eagerly anticipated travel arrangements.
