To honor Hans Christian Andersen's birthday and International Children's Book Day, read to children or to yourself - maybe choose a book that you loved as a child. Or write a children's story! Help out at your local library, or create a poster to inspire the love of reading. Include your own artwork and a message to children. Dedicate this day to all mythological creatures in the world of children's literature, and make an offering of milk and honey to the fairies of your garden. (Even read aloud the them!) Burn incense made of jasmine, sandalwood, lavender, and calerian. Or scatter around your offering of milk and honey. Carry a piece of rose quartz or turquoise in a pink or lavender mojo bag, along with a piece of angelica that has been anointed with jasmine oil. Sniff it every now and then, and allow your mind to drift back to happy memories of childhood.
