LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Divination

Color of the day:  Pink
Incense of the day:  Orchid

As we approach Samhain, the veil between the worlds gets thinner, wich makes this the perfect time for a bit of simple divination. Be sure to cast a protective circle first, though, to make sure nothing comes through that you don't want. Once you have your circle (which can be as easy as sprinkling salt around you and visualizing yourself protected by a shining white light), take an apple and start peeling it with either a peeler or a knife. (Be careful not to cut yourself!) Go slowly and carefully. Try to keep the peel in one long stip by going around in a circle from top to bottom. Let the peel fall free as you finish, and see if the shape it falls into suggests an answer to any question you might have. Cut the apple across and see the pentacle inside!
