Prince Kuhio Day

Color of the day:  Maroon
Incense of the day:  Ginger

This is the birthday of Prince Kuhio, a Hawaiian royal who rallied for the rights of his people in the early 1900s. He was an educated and dedicated man, serving jail time for his attempts to preserve the monarchy. He ended up serving in the U.S. Congress and was dubbed "Prince of the Citizens" for helping to secure land for his people.
In Hawaii he is honored today with parades, dancing, and games. This is a good day to charge a protective item with the spirit and courage of one who acted in the best interest of others.
Select a stone to use as a talisman and use this chant:

"Stone I hold and charge with might, aid the battles that I fight.
Stone I hold let me be strong, serve what's right against what's wrong."
