A Water Scrying Spell

This is the seventh day of the seventh month. Seven is the most mystical of all numbers. The seventh son of a seventh son was considered to have enormous spellcasting powers. The seventh daughter of a seventh daughter was frequently thought to possess great powers of prophecy.
Since this day falls in the water sign of Cancer, water scrying would be especially effective today. Begin your scrying session after dark using a bowl of water, a birdbath, or a pond. Stir the water seven times using your power hand, then speak this charm:

"Ancient Ones, I call upon the power of the ancient way.
I call upon the power of this, the seventh day.
I call upon the power of the seven seas.
Bring me the gift of prophecy."

As the ripples in the water subside, scry deeply into the water without thinking of anything specific.
