An August Love Charm

Many plants that mature in August make superb ingredients for love charms, and since this is a Venus day, it's a good day to do a little love magic.
Here's what you'll need: A piece of pink fabric the size of a handkerchief, a leaf of Joe-Pye weed, a few leaves of valerian, and a teaspoon of cornmeal. As you think of your magical intent, crumble the ingredients in the center of the fabric. Tie up the corners of the cloth with pretty pink or whte ribbon. Tie another piece of ribbon about three feet long around your bundle. Lay the charm on a table across from you. Without thinking of anyone specific, pull the bundle toward you. Visualize that you're drawing the perfect love into your life. Hide your charm and see what happens.
