LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Fibonacci Day

Color of the day:  Brown
Incense of the day:  Sage

Today, 11/23, honors Leonardo Fibonacci, who discovered the mathematical sequence 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8 . . . to infinity. Each previous two numbers adds up to the next number. A Fibonacci poem consists of six lines. The syllables of each line correspond to the first six numbers in the sequence. As you go about your day, reflect on the wonder and magick of numbers. Be on the lookout for other sequences and seemingly random numerical oddities.
