We should learn to use smells to help us cope with stress in our everyday life. Aromatherapy has been shown to decrease stress and promote calm, among other benefits. Use essential oils, as they are pure, and be sure to test for allergies before using. For calm and stress reduction, you can use lavender, cedar wood, patchouli, sandalwood, or rose. To invigorate, use oils of orange, peppermint, rosemary, or lemongrass. |
