Seal Your Thresholds

The time when spirits roam the land is upon us, and while you may want to honor them in upcoming rituals, you can choose to keep uninvited random spirit energies from crossing your threshold and lingering. Let's shore up those thresholds so that only the invited may cross.
Mix together salt, rosemary, and cinnamon in a pot full of water, and allow it to boil. When the mixture cools, put it in a spray bottle and mist it across every threshold in your house, plus the doors and windows. Then light a white candle in the heart of your home to activate the barriers:

"I seal the thresholds in my home
Against all spirits uninvited.
As I do state by flesh and bone,
They'll pass me by and not feel
slighted.
The only spirits may cross my door,
The ones that I shall choose.
The rest shall find another floor
To rest their ghostly shoes."
