With Mercury in retrograde, intuition and instinct work better than words or phrases. Take a moment under this Diana's Bow moon, and meditate on the energies of earth. See mountain ridges in your mind; feel the strength and power of the earth-her body and bones, the soil and the rocks-beneath your body; smell the sacred and rich deep scents of the earth, whether clay, loam, or sand. Breathe the moist air near the snow-covered ground or rain-moistened grasses; hear the creaks and cracklings of trees and rocks as they shift and settle. Feel your own flesh and bones, and know that you are as one with the earth and all her creatures. Cast a circle in your mind and vow to honor your body today, to nurture health, and pleasure, and rest. Promise to give your body this honor from this day forward. Be blessed.
