This rhyme is for those who must travel in the black of night or heart of winter:
Feather of raven, black as pitch,
Hear the summons of this Witch.
I wave this feather before my quest,
To the east, south, north, and west.
I sprinkle mandrake upon my fire,
And know how very close is my desire.
Raven, lend your guidance in the night.
Curse the dangers in my sight.
Bless this traveler on the way,
O Diana, to you I pray:
That thy face shall shine on me,
And protect me and ever guide me.
I pray to the goddess above-
Keep me on my way with love.
Blessed be!
