Pendulum Board Blessing

Color of the day:  Orange
Incense of the day:  Hyacinth

When working with new tools, it is important to make sure they are consecrated and blessed. Doing so tunes the items to your personal energies and makes working with them easier and more natural. Today, on the spring equinox, connect to the abundant energies of the earth to bless and consecrate the pendulum and board you are using.
Take the items and place them on your altar along with the items you will consecrate the board with. Since most pendulum boards are made of wood, be cautious of what you use. To represent water, place several seashells on the board.(Water itself can damage the wood.) To represent earth, sprinkle the top with sea salt. Fire can be represented by a volcanic rock or a piece of red cloth. Finally, air can be represented by allowing incense to waft over the items. When you have placed each item on or near the board and pendulum, say:

"The power of earth, air, fire, and water do align with and consecrate the board to myself and its intended magickal purpose of divination."

Gather the items together and place in a muslin bag to store with your board.
