Spell for Clarity

Color of the day:  Gray
Incense of the day:  Cedar
 
Fill a clear glass bowl with water, and place it on your altar. Carve runes or other symbols for clarity(or even simply write the word "clarity") on each of a pair of white taper candles, and place them on either side of the bowl. Ground and center, and think about what it is that has you confused. Pour a small amount of clean black sand (such as the kind you can obtain at a craft store, or regular sand you've previously washed) into the water, and stir it with your finger, chanting seven times:

"Muddy is the water, muddy is my way, beloved Lord and Lady, bring me clarity today!"

The last time through, repeat from "beloved Lord and Lady" three times, to seal the spell. Light the tapers and say:

"As the moon grows, as the light shines, so the clouds part, clarity is mine!
So mote it be."
