Banish the Winter Blues

During the later months of the year, the days get shorter and the nights become longer. To bring a little light back into your life, brighten the colors of your altar by adding some yellow to represent the sun today. Spruce up the altar with some fresh flowers and candles from the florist as well. Add anything that is bright and vibrant. Good color choices to complement the day of the sun include yellow, gold, and white. Placing some sunstone on the altar will also catch and reflect any candlelight, creating a lovely glow that will help banish the tedium of the winter blues.
