For Travelers

Color of the day:  Gold
Incense of the day:  Eucalyptus

I am someone who travels frequently, and I find that as soon as I can when I arrive in a new land, I need to ground in, give offerings, and align my soul once more. I sometimes sing into the wind or go to a liminal place where I can trance into the land.

My mother once gave me a red jasper stone, which is known for bestowing luck and protection while traveling. Procure a red jasper stone and a small magic pouch. Enter a trance in your way and project your awareness to the rippling edge of the stone's spirit. Communicate your desire for luck and protection while traveling and form an agreement. You may want to pour a spirit (such as rum or whiskey) over the stone to feed and invigorate the spirit. Place the red jasper in the pouch and carry it with you as you journey.
