An earthy element, gold is grounding as well as a talisman for success and an amulet of deity. Today, on the 170th anniversary of the start of the California Gold Rush, draw on gold's energy to make your deepest dreams come true.

First, bathe yourself in the golden light of the sun-even if it's cloudy outside! (Remember, sometimes gold is hidden; many a prospector dug and panned to find gold.)

Next, visualize your desire and perceive it in shades of lustrous, luminous gold. If you have a piece of gold such as a coin or a piece of jewelry, hold it in your hand to help you transfer its energy to your vision. When you have the image clear in your mind, shout this spell aloud to seal it:
