Read the following words to yourself. Follow the instructions to mend a broken heart.

When you've lost that special one,
After a romance is done,
It's time to heal the wound that has scarred your heart.
Even if you think you can't make a fresh start.
It's time to dissolve the grief and bury the past.
You must slowly move forward at last.
Perform this spell after frost has touched the ground,
When summer flowers bow their heads and turn dusty brown.
Go to an orchard when a chill is in the autumn breeze,
Where forgotten apples lay to rot and freeze.
Select an apple that has lost its hue and is pale,
On it, inscribe a heart with a rusty nail.
Crush the apple into the earth so the spell's power is released.
Walk away, hold your head high, let your heart be at peace.
