Ritual Honoring Air

Color of the day:  Brown
Incense of the day:  Honeysuckle

This ritual celebrates the air element and helps you incorporate its characteristics into your life. Air represents the mind, intellect, creativity, beginnings, and communication. Choose one (or more) of these aspects on which to focus, or include all of them in your visualization.

Select an object to represent air, and place it on your altar. It can be a feather, for example, or a photo or drawing of the sky. Flutes and other wind instruments are also symbolic of air. Speak these words:

"I honor the element of air-
the wind, the movement of life,
and the changes it brings;
I move with ease in the breeze,
ride the air like untethered leaves,
without fear or worry
where it may lead, accepting
adventure and discovery."
