POSTED UNDER Moon

Dispel Illusions

Color of the day:  Purple
Incense of the day:  Nutmeg

Begin by arranging white candles of any shape or size on a mirror. Just use what you have available. Leave room in the center of the mirror. In that space, place the Moon card from a Tarot deck, if you have one. If you don’t have this card, simply draw a full moon on a piece of paper and use that.

The Moon card is traditionally said to represent intuition, dreams, uncertainty, and illusion. Use this spell to help refine your powers of intuition and perception. Let the power of the full moon increase your understanding that you may not always see the total picture. Let this card remind you to look closely but also to trust your intuition. We can’t rely solely on our intuition or on what we see—we need a blend of both.

Light the candles and chant:
Reflect the truth, help me see
Beyond mirage and mystery.
Let illusions be dispelled,
Intuition be upheld.
Let the moonlight be my guide,
Revealing where the truth can hide.
