POSTED UNDER Cat, Home

Safe Travels, Safe Home

Color of the day:  Topaz
Incense of the day:  Honeysuckle

Getting there is only half the equation. This spell reminds you to come home safely, too.

Here is what you'll need:

  • 2 pieces of paper, two inches by two inches each
  • An item representing your destination (a coin, a picture, or anything you like)
  • An item representing your home (such as soil from your yard, your cat's whisker, or a loose thread from your favorite blanket)
  • A drawstring bag

On one piece of paper, write:
I arrived safely at ______
on ______.

Fill in your destination and the date you'll be arriving there. Be as specific as space allows. Include the address, or hotel name, or city you're traveling to. Fold the paper three times.

On the other piece of paper, write:
I arrived safely home on ______.

Fill in the date you'll be arriving back home. It's best not to use your full address. Put your street name or number or just the town. Fold the paper three times.

Place all the items in the drawstring bag and keep them with you at all times while traveling.
