Claudiney Prieto is a prominent Wiccan Priest and one of the most well-known and respected Brazilian authors today. His book Wicca: A Religião da Deusa (Wicca: The Goddess Religion) has sold more than 300,000 copies, and he is the founder of the Dianic Nemorensis Tradition. Claudiney is a 3rd Degree High Priest in the Gardnerian Tradition, a Minos in the Minoan Brotherhood, an Archpriest of the Fellowship of Isis, and member of the FOI ArchPriesthood Union. He is also a High Priest in the Apple Branch Tradition.

Claudiney founded the first Museum of Magic and Witchcraft in Brazil. He has been a spokesperson for Wicca not only in Brazil but also in other parts of the world, speaking at the World Parliament of Religions and developing activities in the United States, Mexico, Canada, Germany, Portugal, and Argentina.
