Use this magick to imbue your home and all who tread there with protection and good fortune. Choose a small to medium-sized rug. Begin by sweeping or vacuuming the rug, imagining you are removing any obstacles in your path as you clear out the dirt. Then decorate a few stickers or a length of masking tape with the protective and magickal symbol of the pentacle. Place the stickers or tape on the underside of the rug. At the corners of the rug or around its perimeter, dot on some patchouli essential oil for further protection and to attract good luck. (Just be aware that the oil could potentially show up on the carpet fibers, so put it only on the underside of the rug if this concerns you, and don't use it on an antique or otherwise valuable rug.) Finally, sprinkle some sage leaves and rose petals on the floor beneath the rug. Good luck and protection will be conferred to all who walk, sit, or stand on the rug.
