In expanding our spirituality, we become a more receptive conduit for messages and information from deities and our guides. We will be using color and candle magic to open ourselves up to all of the messages that are meant for us.

For this spell you will need a purple or white chime or tealight candle. To create sacred space, cast a simple circle by visualizing a sphere of white light surrounding you. Take a deep breath and focus on Hermes, the messenger god. When you have him in your mind, light your candle in a heatsafe container where it can safely burn until it is out. After the flame is lit, say:

May any messages find me through the firelight, as the candle burns brightly through the night.

Keep a journal or paper and pen with you. You may have insights throughout the day or in your dreams at night. Over the next two weeks, keep track of repeated images, songs, or situations that keep presenting themselves. These messages are being brought to your attention by your guides or by a deity and need your attention.
