Spell: Lily Spell for Protection

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

In this day in the Shinto faith, people adorn their houses and villages with lilies to protect them from disaster. Here in the West, it was believed that the first lily sprang from the breast milk of the goddess Juno, for whom the month of June was named. To use the powers of lilies for protection, steep lily blossoms in alcohol for seven days. Strain the infusion into a white vial. Sprinkle it on the window and door sills in all the rooms of your house, saying:

Mother Juno, protect this home from travail.

Arrange a bouquet of lilies on your kitchen table and burn a new white candle.
