Incense of the day: Maple In Portugal, people celebrate Our Lady of Fatima today. Mary, the Mother of God, is an aspect of the Queen of Heaven. This goddess usually appears when her children need healing. In this case, she instructed people to build a shrine in Fatima for curing the sick. Set your altar with a blue cloth, white flowers, blue and white candles, and other items that remind you of the Queen of Heaven. Light the candles and say: We who light candles upon your shrine, Ask for your healing, Goddess divine. Flowers we bring to honor your name, Loved by all people, One and the same. Merciful mother, Queen above all, Open your hands and let blessings fall. Pray for sick people you know, or for strangers. If you have get-well cards to send, place them on the altar to gather energy while the candles burn down. |
