Incense of the day: Sandalwood There are two versions of this fun divination exercise. If you have a fireplace, take two whole walnuts and set them in front of your fire as it burns brightly. As you watch the fire, hold the question you want answered in your mind. When the fire has died down, place the walnuts in the glowing embers. If one or both crack loudly, this is a sign you will be successful. If they just burn, you may have a brief success but it will not last. If you are unable to divine by fire, crack a bag of walnuts with a nutcracker while holding your question in mind. If the majority of the shells break into complete halves, your dreams will be realized. If most of the shells shatter when cracked, you will need to reevaluate your goals. |
