Spell: United Nations Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: Gray
Incense of the day: Musk

On this day in 1945, the United Nations was formed. This international organization was created to help prevent future conflicts and to offer humanitarian aid around the globe. For this spell you'll need no ritual tools, candles, nor herbs. Since international peace begins at home, the only things you'll need are an open heart and an open mind. To observe this day, try visiting an ethnic neighborhood in your community, especially one you know little about. Talk to the residents, visit their food markets, and eat at a restaurant. By now you've probably also noticed the familiar black and orange Trick-or-Treat for Unicef collection boxes. Give to them whatever you can afford now. End the day by remembering this: Open hearts and open minds will always open doors.
