Spell: A Spell to Banish Negative Energy or Emotions

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

You'll need a tall black taper candle, olive oil, matches, a stone, an abalone shell (or other thurible), and a candle snuffer.
Anoint the candle with oil, working from top to bottom. As you work, speak aloud about what you wish to banish, thus sealing your intentions into the candle. Set the stone in the shell and hold the candle aloft at an angle, allowing the wax to drip onto the stone as you continue speaking about that which you wish to banish. Invoke the words noli me tangere ("Let nothing touch/harm me") as the wax carries the banished concerns to the Earth (stone) to hold. When finished, snuff the candle and place it and the stone on your altar for a least a Moon cycle.
For best results, work this spell at the New Moon. Using metamorphic rock-granite or marble-is ideal, as it withstands tremendous force and only becomes stronger.
