LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Spell: Cosmic Invocation by Starlight

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

This is a fun magical working to perform by starlight on any clear-skied evening. Simply go outside and breathe in the essence of the night. Feel the presence of mystical darkness surrounding you; contemplate the endlessness of the cosmos and the immaculacy of the natural world around you. When you feel grounded and centered, bring your focus to a star, raise your hands, and draw its essence into a point of your body. Repeat this for different points on your body, using different stars for each point. (My suggestions include working on the chakra points, the joints, wrists, elbows, knees, hands, feet, and so on.) This working will help connect you with the cosmos and the mysteries of life. For extra potency, spend some time beforehand researching astronomy and astrology, and the physical and metaphysical universe. You may also wish to wear glitter when performing this working. Doing so can help you connect the stars above with the sparkles on your body-as above, so below.
