Spell: Letting Go

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

We are at the end of another year and heading into the dark and quiet winter season. Even in those places where it doesn't get cold and dismal, there is a shift to a more internal energy and a slower pace. Take this opportunity to let go of all things from the year behind you that no longer serve a purpose, so you can go into the dark free and clear and come out the other side ready to create a happy and properous new year.
Sit in a darkened room and light one white candle. Meditate for a while on which things still bring something positive to your life, and which ones only drag you down.
Then say:

"God and Goddess,
Help me to let go of the past and embrace the future in a bright and positive fashion and without any old baggage. So mote it be."
