Today many small religions, including Neopagan paths, still seek religious freedom in many countries. Here's what you can do to help support this civil liberty. Remember that religious freedom is for everyone, not just the people you agree with. It can be tough to support those with beliefs you dislike, but like the freedom of speech, religious liberty is stongest when everyone has it. Write letters to your elected representatives urging them to support everyone's right to -or from-religion. If you're out of the broom closet, be a positive example of your Pagan path. Don't shove your beliefs in everyone else's face, but offer information if asked, and politely correct misinformation. |
