Spell: Spell to Find Your Patron God

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Many who come to the Pagan path don't wish to work with male deities for a while, but once you feel it's time, it can be helpful to use guided meditation to find and connect with your personal patron god. Patron is from the Old French, meaning "father." You can find yours by simply casting a circle, inviting the quarters, and asking him to reveal himself to you. Bring an offering of frankincense and fresh herbs, and lay these on your altar as a thank-you gift. Deepen into meditation.
In your meditation, look to the edge where shadow meets light in a forest or sacred grove. Open yourself to his energies, and tell him, in your own words, that you're ready to meet him, to receive his truths and guidance. Allow yourself to see him however he presents himself to you, whether dark or light, and be blessed with his protection and gentle strength.
