| Spells don't always need to be instantly woven into the universe. Some things take time. If you feel the need to create a spell, but its effects don't need to be instantaneous, you may consider creating a magickal time capsule. This is a spellcrafting addendum.
Create an original spell with materials and incantations that resonate with you. After performing your magick, wrap the contents of the spell in black cloth or tuck the piece in a dark, hidden place. When it's time to utilize its energy, return and unwrap the piece, and draw its essence into you. You may also choose to burn the spell on a fire to release its energy into reality. Another option is to sink the spell in a river when it's time for its energy to be sent into reality. Please only burn or sink spellcasting components that are natural and quickly biodegradable, as to give reverence to Mother Earth. |
