It's Valentine's Day and also a waning moon. Use the moon's influence to drive away negative things that hurt you in relationships.
Buy a package of Valentine's cards-the kind kids give away in school. If you can, let the moon shine on you while you do this spell. Write a word or phrase on each card that represents something that hurts you in love, whether it prevents new relationships from forming or it exists in a current relationship. Examples: Distrust, Jealousy, Abuse, Low Self-Esteem, or Dishonesty. With a wand, athame, or your hand, point at the cards and say: "Valentine's Day, Valentine's Day. Poisoned love, banished be. Hear the truth that I do say. From these pains, I am free." Put the cards into a paper packet. Add salt and pepper to banish evil, then tie the packet, using thread or string, with nine knots. Wait until the new moon and throw the packet from a height (roof or bridge). |
