Seasons are changing and the time is right for planning. How do you wish your yard or garden to look? Is this the year you will make many changes, a few changes, or no change at all?
Begin with a spring clean-up. Rake, mow, and bag those last leaves from the fall and winter. Turn the soil and apply the fertilizer. Be gentle around those daffodils and hyacinths. When all is cleared, take a good, long look and map out where any new plants or flowers will be. Perhaps you are planting a tree this year. Just as we humans like to be touched, so does the earth. Talk to the earth as you work, sending appreciation for the anticipated new growth. Your love and devotion will be returned. Say: "Mother Nature, Lady Gaia, Bless the soil under my care. My gratitude for your beauty Is never-ending." |
