Spell: Invoking Uranus

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Surprise! Today Uranus was "discovered" by Sir William Herschel in 1781. Uranus, named for the Greek god Ouranos, is daddy to Cronos (Saturn) and granddaddy to Zeus ( Jupiter), making him the real father in the sky. His 84-year orbit around the sun often brings change in his wake, sometimes unexpected.

Work with Uranus to restore your equilibrium when change has rocked your world. Visualize his blue-green glory, take his energy into your heart, and invoke his help:

"Sky daddy,
Big daddy,
Master of surprise,
Shake me!
Wake me!
Open my eyes!"

Repeat the incantation whenever a surprising shift happens in your life. Even if Uranus isn't behind it, he's got your back!
