Spell: Connect to Your Patron God Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Whether we've worked with our patron god(s) before or not, now, while the solar energies of the year are still waxing, is a good time to connect and deepen our bond. We can do devotional rituals, using words of praise and expressions of love. If your patron is a sun god archetype, you'll want to use a gold candle, and if your patron is a dark god, you'll want to use a black one. Inscribe the candle with words or symbols describing his awesomeness, and meditate on those energies for a while. Think about your special connection with him, and what kinds of energy patterns you would like help with. When you're ready, light the candle, saying:

"I light this candle to represent
the light in me that is like you.
Please, (patron god), help me
grow more like you every day."

Allow the candle to burn down completely, knowing that as it does so, you are drinking in that light. Be blessed.
