Spell: Nimuë’s Petals

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

This is a spell to bless any new project or endeavor and clear away any obstacles to success by invoking Nimuë, the faery goddess of wild innocence and joy.

For this spell you will need six white roses, a vase, a white candle and holder, and a piece of candy.

At the time of the new moon, or later in the evening in the cloak of darkness, take three white roses to a three-way crossroads and reverently tear their petals from the blooms, casting them before you to each road and saying:

"As petals tossed upon the wind
Innocent, the winsome heart
Shall bless the paths before me now,
An open road, a fresh new start."

Speak the faery goddess's name aloud three times to each road:

"Nimuë! Nimuë! Nimuë!"

Return home. Light a white candle before a vase of three white roses and place the piece of candy before it all as an offering. Allow the candle to burn down safely.
