Spell: Sunflower Seed Divination

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Here is an easy divination method using sunflower seeds to get an answer to a simple yes-no question.

You will need a stick for drawing on the ground and some sunflower seeds. Gather the same number of seeds as your current age.

Use the stick to draw a line about a yard long on the ground. On the right side of the line, carve the word “yes,” and on the left side write “no.” Now turn your back on the line, and stand with it directly behind you, with one end at your feet.

Hold the sunflower seeds in both hands and ask your question.

Throw them back over your head and let them land where they may. Turn around and count how many landed on each side of the line. The side with the most seeds is your answer.

If you do this in a rural or private setting, you can leave the seeds for the wildlife to eat. Otherwise clean them up.
