Spell: To Keep Away Winter Illness

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

As the autumn holidays come to an end and winter sets in, many of us find ourselves constantly on the verge of sickness. Aside from all of those mundane things we should all be doing to stay healthy (washing hands, getting a flu shot, staying home when we’re sick), try this spell to help keep the winter bugs at bay.

Draw a picture of yourself healthy and happy. Don’t worry—it doesn’t have to be recognizable to anyone else! Just as long as you know it’s you. Place it on your altar. With a green or yellow highlighter, draw a circle around yourself in the picture, creating a barrier that shields you from seasonal illness. Say:

I am comfortable, energized, and
free from disease. So mote it be.

Then be sure to drink plenty of fluids and wash your hands routinely!
