LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Spell: Candle Spell for Clarity

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

The stresses of modern living can make the outside world and everyday activities difficult to manage, especially if we find ourselves needing to focus on something specific. This spell is designed to clear the mind and provide a moment of clarity.

Etch an eye into the center of a pillar, chime, or taper candle, and then anoint with the cleansing oil of your choice. (We recommend diluted peppermint or rosemary oil.) Before lighting the candle, hold it before your nose and inhale the fragrance, allowing the scents to open up your mind. Bring the candle to your third eye and make sure the etched eye is placed on your forehead. With your eyes closed, say aloud your intention regarding clarity and focus.

When you feel the candle has been properly charged, set it down and light it. Let the candle burn for as long as you need until your mind is clear and your focus is sharp. Extinguish the candle and repeat the spell as necessary.
