There are times when we need to imbue our magickal working with a little extra oomph. One item we can charge ahead of time is a candle. You can charge one or more candles with this blessing.

Take the candles you have acquired and start by cleansing them with a sage smudge or salt water. Move the candles through the smoke from the sage or sprinkle them with the salt water to cleanse them of any prior residual energy. Once complete, place your hands over the candles, close your eyes, and take a deep inhale. Feel the energy come in as you take the breath. As you breathe out, feel the energy collected push out and into the candles. Push all the energy you can into them and say as you do so:
Bright these candles will burn, creating
a beacon for our magick to follow.
After completing the spell, store the candles in a cool, dry place until you're ready to use them in ritual or other spellwork.
